Dr. Sheridon Gove
Welcome to Dr. Sheridon Gove, new owner of Family Eye Health!
Dr. Sheridon Gove received her B.S. from the University of Maine in Orono and her doctorate of Optometry from Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. She has served on the Maine Optometric Association board since 2013.
Dr. Gove grew up in the optometric community, running around her father’s practice since the age of 2. Later, and more educated, she joined her father’s practice as an associate optometrist in 2012. Optometry has always been a vocation.
In 2019, Dr. Gove purchased Family Eye Health. She looks forward to continuing the exceptional eyecare of the Family Eye Health patients and have the opportunity to get back to her roots and the way she believes optometry should serve the community.
When not in the office, Dr. Gove enjoys spending time with her husband Will, and two sons, Oliver and Emeric. The four of them, and their dog, Teddy, can often be found skiing, swimming at the lake, or enjoying time at their home in Freeport.
