Dr. Reginald Mailhot, our optometrist in Lewiston, is known for his dedication to the monitoring and treating of various eye diseases, especially glaucoma, which is characterized by an abnormal increase in eye pressure. In fact, he was the first optometrist in Maine to monitor and treat glaucoma completely independently. As a result, he is proud to serve on the State Board of Optometry’s glaucoma subcommittee.
